National Careers Week

National Careers Week is a week designated to helping young people across the UK by providing them with information about careers opportunities. It was originally introduced in 2010 and upon its success it has continued, and we are now on the 12th annual National Careers week.

#NCW2022 aims to make information very accessible for young people to find the relevant support they need, to make informed decisions for their future.

There is advice on there that will provide careers and education guidance. The careers guidance outlines job vacancies, entry requirements, skills for work, CV’S, cover letters etc.

For direction on academic routes, there are various apprenticeships and college courses listed that you could read about, to gain an insight into course requirements and an overview of the course content.

There is currently a virtual careers fair being hosted on the National Careers Week website.

You can find this on https://ncw2022.co.uk/ there are four ‘rooms’ that are links to four separate areas that will provide you with useful resources.

Get SET Academy are celebrating National Careers Week by showcasing apprenticeship opportunities. We are currently advertising Apprenticeship Vacancies on our Instagram page; you can find us at @Getsetacademy for more information.
