On 31st July 2021, Get SET Academy passed an important milestone in the delivery of the EnterprisingYou programme in Greater Manchester. The day marked the delivery of the 1,000th entrepreneurship workshop under the scheme.
EnterprisingYou is a government-funded programme that provides skills support for self-employed people in Greater Manchester. It’s managed by a partnership between the Growth Company and PeoplePlus Enterprise, and it’s effectively a pilot programme that could see similar support rolled out across the UK.
Get SET is one of the agencies delivering support under the programme. We’ve listed a host of workshops, which have proved very popular amongst entrepreneurs. So much so, in fact, that since the scheme’s launch in the summer of 2020, we’ve now helped over 1,200 business owners. They have benefited from courses on topics ranging from marketing strategy to search engine optimisation, and from sales skills to the use of digital accounting software.
