Overview
The Early Years Educator course provides individuals with the knowledge and skills required to ensure young children develop well and are kept healthy and safe. These skills can be applied so that they can they can progress to become qualified childcare professionals. This course will teach individuals the skills required to ensure children are supported so that they are able to progress their learning. They may be working on their own or may be helping new staff to develop into practitioner roles.

Who is it for?

The Early Years Educator course is for individuals that are keen to gain the knowledge and skills required to become a certified childcare professional. Individuals will gain the skills necessary to guarantee that children are supported so they can advance in their learning from this course to pursue a career in the childcare sector.

Key Responsibilities may include:

Early Years Educators are highly trained professionals who play a key role in ensuring that young children are supported. They work in a range of settings including day cares, children’s centres, or preschools. They will usually be supervising others to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements set by Government for the learning, development, and care of children from birth to 5 years old.

Occupations may include:

Early Years Educators, Local Authorities, Childminders, Awarding Organisations, Further education college/training provider staff.
