At Get SET Academy, we’re genuinely committed to helping people to succeed – to gain skills, to find work, to further their careers and to build better lives for themselves.
Crucially, we aim to direct this support wherever it achieves the greatest impact. We’re therefore especially keen to work on projects that support disadvantaged groups and assist people who face particular challenges in building their careers. We have a strong track record of delivering projects that provide targeted employability support for such groups, including:
Our focus is on enhancing people’s lives and part of this work also includes helping businesses to thrive. That, in turn, helps to create jobs, to reinvigorate local economies and to build new supply chains that support growth and new opportunities for all.
We deliver programmes focusing on – amongst other things – employability, apprenticeships, work placements, business start-up, process improvement, IT skills and social inclusion. We work across all sectors, and with a variety of funding bodies.
It’s our mission to extend this support in the years ahead; to help more people in more industries, and in more parts of the UK.

Get SET Academy was established in 2012, originally as a business support agency offering leadership coaching and mentoring for business owners. Through this work, we forged close links with an ever-expanding base of regional employers, comprising private companies, social enterprises, charities and start-up entrepreneurs.
As they grew, and as their skills and employment needs evolved, so did we. We enlarged our range of services, expanded our workforce and extended our geographical reach. Today, we are a well-recognised apprenticeship and training provider delivering bespoke and accredited courses to a diverse range of client groups across England.
